In the latest roundup of South Florida residential sales, a tech boss, a spec developer and a menswear retailer bought homes.

Sales spanned Pinecrest to Palm Beach, and ranged in price from $9 million to $12 million.

Miami

Just weeks after Hewlett Packard Enterprise CEO Antonio Neri sold a waterfront house in Fort Lauderdale for $9 million, the tech boss dropped $7.5 million on a condo at One Thousand Museum in Miami.

Records show Neri bought unit 3702 in the tower at 1000 Biscayne Boulevard from Cirrus SL, a Texas-based company managed by Perhsant Mehta. Neri financed the purchase with a $5.5 million loan from J.P. Morgan Chase, records show.

Chad Carroll of Compass had the listing, and Senada Adzem of Douglas Elliman brought the buyer.

Cirrus SL bought the condo for $6.7 million in 2022, records show. The tower was designed by the late Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid, and completed in 2019. Neri’s new unit spans 4,600 square feet, with four bedrooms and five bathrooms, according to property records.

It hit the market for $8 million in May.

Pinecrest

Oscar Renjel of Zumma Investments sold a spec mansion in Pinecrest for $9.4 million.

Records show Renjel’s Juni Holdings LLC, a Florida entity, sold the house at 5900 Southwest 108th Street to S-REIT LLC, a Florida company linked to the Netherlands. Michael Martinez of One Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing, and Pilar Ruiz of Coldwell Banker Realty brought the buyer.

Renjel bought the 0.9-acre site for $2 million in 2022, according to property records. He completed the 6,600-square-foot house this year. It has seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, one half-bathroom, a guest house and pool, the listing shows.

It listed for $9.5 million in February, according to Redfin.

Basketball star Dion Waiters sold an estate in Pinecrest for $11.1 million earlier this month.

Palm Beach

Spec developer Lee Fensterstock bought a teardown in Palm Beach.

Fensterstock bought the house at 264 Dunbar Road from Carin Searby for $11.2 million, records show. He financed the purchase with a $5.4 million loan from Legacy Lending Fund.

Dana Koch of the Corcoran Group had the listing.

Searby is the widow of hedge funder Frederick Wright Searby IV, who died in 2020, according to published reports. They bought the house for $2.2 million in 2011, according to property records. Built in 1953 on a half-acre, the house spans nearly 4,400 square feet. It was advertised for its land, Realtor.com shows.

Fensterstock is a luxury spec developer in Palm Beach. In August, he sold a spec house on the island’s North End for $16.9 million

Also in Palm Beach, clothing retailer Hayati Banastey sold a house for $12 million.

Banastey’s Project Palm Beach LLC sold the home at 164 Seaspray Avenue to James Atwood, records show. Atwood is a wealth manager with J.P. Morgan in Boston.

Banastey heads Jachs New York, a menswear retailer in New York City. He bought the  0.15-acre Palm Beach property for $4 million in 2021, records show. Last year, he completed the 2,700-square-foot house with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and one half-bathroom, according to property records.
